HBO's amazing show The Wire had a great series finale last night. During one 5 minute segment of the show, a high powered lawyer, the mayor, 2 police officers, a prosecutor, the police lieutenant, a drug kingpin, a newspaper reporter, and others had enough dirt on them to potential go to jail. Some might say that at times in this year of The Wire the show strayed from some of its realism and had too much hyperbole. To those people, I say take a look at the news today. The Governor of New York was caught being involved in a prostitution ring. and part of the evidence used against him was from a wire tap (no word yet if Lester was involved) . In addition, it is being reported that NY Times reporters worked thought the night to break the story. Any of this stuff sound like it could be taken from a certain T.V. show.
