The Patriots just picked Outside LineBacker Jerod Mayo. I can't pretend I know a lot about him, but I do know the Patriots are in desperate need of youth in that position.  Their current crop of Linebackers will be eligible for Social Security in a few years. The key word with Mayo seems to be "versatile" which is what the Patriots like in their LBs.
As for the rest of the draft, I think it is great that the Raiders got Darren McFadden. There are so many possible ways that the Marriage of The Oakland Raiders and Darren McFadden could end in disaster that it is going to be great theater to see how it happens.
