That was a sad display tonight. The Celtics fucked up in so many different ways. They got out-hustled for rebounds. They came out of time outs and either Doc Rivers called idiotic plays or the players decided to run idiotic plays like that rushed 3 Ray Allen took (and missed) with under a minute to go. Perkins, Powe, and Posey are the only 3 Celtics who did their job tonight. Garnett for all his intensity is pissing me off right now. In the 4th quarter when Pierce was out he should have took the game over and take shots from down low over and over again. People talked shit about Walker when he was here but he never shrunk from being part of a big moment. KG has been great for the Celtics this season, but he does not seem to be "the man" down the stretch in a big game and until he does it people will rightfully criticize him for it. I am pissed at Pierce too. The 6th foul was kind of bullshit, but that is still no excuse for the rest of the game. Pierce started off strong in the first quarter, but then kinda faded into the background after that. (he only took 12 shots the whole game the 4th most on the Cs) I want Pierce to get back into his old playoff mentality and realize that it is his job to take games like this over and put up 35 even if he has to take 25 attempts to do it and a ton of trips to the line to do it. Also, I don't like the fact that House does not play anymore. He made a lot of key shots this season and giving him some playing time this series would have kept him fresh for key moments like the last few minutes of tonight's game. Ugggg.
