If You Are A Celtics Fan, This Is What You Wanted
It is always tough to watch your team lose a potential finals clinching game; that being said, the Celtics accomplished what they had to by winning 1 game in L.A. Now they are going home up 3-2. At the start of the year, what more could a fan ask for? Overall, the Celtics played pretty well tonight especially Pierce who had a great performance. Here are the reasons we lost tonight.
- That play in the final minute when Kobe stole the ball would have been called a fouled if the game was in Boston and not L.A. because Kobe did not get ball and pretty much smacked Pierce.
- Perkins not being in the game allowed Gasol and Odom to get more points and rebounds in the paint then usual.
- Garnett missed 3 big free throws in the 4th quarter.
- Garnett got into foul trouble early in the game which limited him to only 33 minutes.
- Rondo only played a little bit, but when he was in there he was awful; either he is hurt still or the pressure is getting to him.
