Movie Review: The Dark Knight
I saw The Dark Knight tonight at the AMC Boston Common Theater. It was of course a packed house and the crowd had the most buzz in the air at a movie that I went to since the last Star Wars. Now the question is, did the movie live up to all the hype? Well, at times the plot is kinda convoluted and there are a few too many convenient plot devices. However, It is the great acting led of course by the late Heath Ledger as The Joker that sets it apart from most summer blockbusters; Also don't sleep on Aaron Eckhart has Harvey Dent/Two-Face. Ironically, the star of the movie Christian Bale's Batman/Bruce Wayne is not really given that much to do and almost feels like a role player in the movie. I am probably one of the few people who will say this and it is not a slight against Maggie Gyllenhaal, but I wish Katie Holmes was still in the movie. Getting back to the movie as a whole, the best scenes by far are what I like to call The Heat Diner Scenes where The Joker and Batman are face to face talking. Overall, the movie may not be perfect, but It is most likely going to end up as this year best popcorn summer movie and make a shit load of money.

The producers should thank Heath Ledger and the buzz he created for the film.
