About half of all marriages end in divorce. People switch jobs and the company they work for all the time. Sometimes people get sick of each other and all parties in a relationship need a fresh start. It appears that is where the Sox and Manny are right now. Despite the fact that Manny is one of the all time great hitters and help bring 2 World Series victories to Boston, I accepted that fact this weekend that it seems like the Sox and Manny relationship has run its course and that he most likely would be traded. However, it appears that there is a small market for Manny. Thus I ask are the rest of the teams in MLB stupid? Manny has a quirky personality and now and then does not give a shit,  but he also has over 500hr, a career average over .300, historic RBI numbers, more home runs then any player in post season history, 2 world series rings, a world series MVP and countless other accomplishments (hell he had 3 RBI and a HR in the Sox loss tonight) .  There are plenty of teams that are WS contenders or on the borderline of contending that could use hitting help: Angels, Dodgers, Diamondbacks, Twins, Mets, Cardinals et. al. If those teams don't put in a decent offer to try to get Manny they are idiots because Manny's bat could put them over the top and they will kick themselves as they watch Manny get big hits down the stretch for the Red Sox.
