First off, Good Luck To Manny Ramirez. He put up great numbers for the Sox, was a major factor in winning 2 World Series, and kept the city buzzing and entertained for his entire time here. While it was obvious that he was just stirring shit up to get traded of late, the only thing that could make me turn on Manny or any player that was a big factor in helping the Sox win a World Series is if he hurt a women, child, or a dog. Like I stated before, number one on my wish list for Manny would have been Matt Kemp, but Jason Bay is a pretty damn good ball player. Plus, he is Canadian which always gives baseball player bonus points in my book. Add in the fact that he is at a reasonable salary for the next year and a half, he is a pretty good fit for the short and possibly long term.
