While the Greek basketball team lost to the U.S.A., they still got a decent shot at a medal. Tonight, they kicked Angola's ass even without Sofoklis SCHORTSANITIS(a.k.a. Baby Shaq) playing. Ioannis was 9/9 from the field with 22 points. I watched some of the game on nbcolympics.com and it was refreshing because the game was not a major match up and thus there was no one calling the game. While a great or good play by play guys can add to a broadcast, sometimes it is nice to just watch a sporting event without one of the random by play by play guys trying to justify their existence by constant needless babbling and over-commentary. It was also nice to deal with commercial breaks or millions of graphics on the screen.
