The vast majority of politicians, economists, business leaders, and others are predicting at the very least a recession if not an actual depression if their is no bail out bill. However, there are a decent number of House Republicans who believe in free market capitalism who are against the bill for ideological reasons. The question is now, if they will call everyone's bluff and not vote for the bill and see if things actually collapse. People keep saying a deal is close, but I think that the House Republicans are at least going to drag this out for a few more days. If it was not for the fact that it might fuck over millions of people including myself, I almost would want for a deal not to be reached just to see what would actually happen.
