In A Tough Spot? Call Dice-K
If I was trapped in a dark room with a suicide bomber, a lion, Mike Tyson, Charles Manson, and 100 scorpions, I bet Dice-K could figure out a way for me to get out of it. The economy around the world is in a free fall. What should we do? Call Dice-K he can figure it out how to get us out of it. Last night, Dice-K had basis loaded in the first inning due to 3 walks. In the 7th inning, it was first and third and no outs. In both situations I was not worried; I was just waiting to see how Dice-K would get out of it this time. Dice-K has been getting out of it all season. Last night they kept showing the graphic how Dice-K's opponents batting average keeps getting lower with more runners on and with the basis loaded batters are now 0/15 against him this year. What made last nights start even better then most is that the 2 magician acts to get out of jams in the first and seventh innings where sandwiching 5 of the most dominant innings Dice-K has pitched all year. On a side note, one of the biggest plays of the night was one of the smallest. With one out and runners on first and third in the 7th and 2 strikes on Gabe Gross, Gross foul tipped a ball and the directions slightly changed. Tek did an amazing job to quickly move his glove and catch the foul tip for strike three.
