The Truth Is Money With .5 On The Clock

Last year in the first round of the playoffs, The Hawks took the Celtics to 7 games. At the time, many looked at it as a sign that there was something wrong with the Celtics. Well the Celtics where just fine and went on to win it all. What last years first round playoff match up now appears to have foreshadowed is the fact that the Hawks are a damn good team on the rise. They are so good in fact that they are undefeated this season; well, I should say they where underfeed. They took a quick big lead against the Celtics tonight, but the C's clawed back. It was back and forth in the 4th quarter, but it was Pierce who hit the money shot; an impressive shot that had a huge arch to it, over a bigger defender, with only .5 left on the clock to win the game. It was a great win for the C's, but also another sign that this Hawks team is for real and one of the best in the east. On a side note, The Bruins just took a one nothing lead against the Blackhawks in the second period. For those that do not follow sports, please note that the Bruins are playing a hockey team called the Blackhawks and not in fact a black version of the basketball team the Celtics played. The team the Bruins are playing, in fact is rather white, and the team the Celtics played was, in fact mostly black.
