If The 08 Election Where A Football Game

McCain would have been the team of grizzled veterans and Obama would’ve been the young talented but inexperienced upstarts. The Obama’s got out to a decent size lead in the first half, but the McCain Squad kept slowly clawing back into the game. At the end of the third quarter, Team Obama was clinging to a 3 point lead with the McCain Squad driving into their Red Zone. It looked like at the very least McCain would tie the game with a F.G. and maybe even pull away; but, then it happened. McCain said “the fundamentals of our economy where strong” which was the football equivalent of getting picked off in the end zone and have the interception returned all the way for the touch down. For the rest of the 4th quarter all Team Obama had to do was run the ball, get a first down or two to eat up some clock, and most importantly not commit any turnovers. That is exactly what he did during the debates, and thus he won.
