Tonight at The New Garden, The Boston Bruins will be playing the Detroit Red Wings in what might be a cup preview. Right now, Detroit has the second most points in the West, behind former Bruin Joe Thornton and the Sharks; but, until they lose in the playoffs, the Red Wings should always be considered the cup favorites. The Bruins have the second most points in the East behind the Rangers, but the Rangers have played 3 more games. Thus, this is as close as a Cup Preview as could be had when it is still November. This year is shaping up to be one of the best in recent memory for Hockey fans because nearly all the teams that are doing well are either in old school cities and or have a legit superstar on their team.
