Boston Music Awards Recap And Pictures

I went to the Boston Music Awards tonight. This year it was at The Roxy/Club Pearl/Underbar. We got there around 7:15 and went to Club Pearl where we stayed for about 2 hours and saw the bands Bearstronaut, Drug Rug, Big Digits, and Jada. Bearstronaut where surprisingly good. They reminded of me of Vampire Weekend without the African Drums. Big Digits where and ok sorta blues type of band. Big Digits where a pretty funny and high energy electronic/hip hop group that jump around the stage and into the crowd a lot. Jada was a local RNB/Pop group that recently signed to Motown that sounded like one of those Danity Kane type of girl groups. Will watching the show me and my friend Ails (both of us preschool/pre-K teachers) met 2 dudes who design Preschool Curriculum which was pretty random. Then we went up stairs to Roxy where they did the awards presentation. They did not have the artists come up when they won, but merely announced the awards rapid fire. Ernie Boch Jr. who was the main sponsor of the event gave a profanity laced and funny speech. I can't remember most of the award winners except for my girl Juliana Hatfield winning song of the year for This Lonely Love and act of the year going to the New Kids On The Block. Donnie Wahlberg and Jordan Knight came out to give a speech for that much to the delight of the screaming women at the Roxy tonight. Later we saw rapper Termonology do a pretty good set backed by about 20 members of his crew and the band Wild Knight perform. Below are a bunch of pictures from tonight.
