I am talking the GRE’s tomorrow. To study, I wrote a short story using all of Kaplin’s most often used words on the test. I used all the words in alphabetical order in the story which you can read below.

After the judge abated the murderer’s sentence to time serve, she absconded from the court house and abstained from going to the bar in order to avoid the abyss like whole she had just dug herself with the media. The judge added some juice to the gin she kept in her glove department to adulterate it a little and lose some of its strength. Every time the judge advocated for lessening a murderers sentence, protesters would vandalize the aesthetic of her house and her image as a pariah in the community would aggrandize. The gin and juice would alleviate some of the stress she felt, but the gin and juice amalgamate could not always ameliorate her issues. The judge felt like an anachronism who was analogous to Jesus living in the 21st century because she like Jesus preached a message of loving thy enemy. The judge was such an anomaly that her views seemed to antagonize everyone till everyone she came into contact with had antipathy toward her and none where apathetic.
 When the judge got home, only the ardor of her wife helped her assuage and attenuate the unpleasantness of the day. She told her wife of his audacious decision regarding the murderer and the austere looks all in the court room gave her. Later, when she turned on the radio, she heard the banal analysis of her decision that bolstered the opposition towards her by the bombastic talk show host whose voice sounded like a cacophony. She decided she would be candid when talking to the press tomorrow and show she was not capricious in his reasoning so they might castigate her less. She thought there was still chance that she could be a catalyst for change in the community despite the caustic wit of those who opposed her in the media and chaos that was sure to descend on courthouse parking lot as she entered today. Some would scream that she was some sort of reverse chauvinist for siding with the lesbian defendant while others with more cogent arguments would also yell at her for condoning the murders actions. The defense’s convoluted case did not help matters; neither did all of the prosecutions corroborated evidence backing up their claims. Still she felt that the public was to credulous when hearing the medias views and the growing crescendo against her was outside the normal realm of decorum for someone who holds such a position that usually people show deference to and rarely deride in a derisive manner.
 She stopped drinking before going to bed in order to desiccate her mind from the alcohol she had consumed earlier and then told her wife desultory diatribe about the diffident media that lacked the confidence to question the prosecutions case. Her wife’s eyes began to dilate as she began a dilatory response that a dilettante would give that at times sounded as mournful of her career prospects as a dirge. There was little the judge thought she could do to disabuse her respect in the public who could not discern all the facts when their preconceived notions where fundamentally disparate then the realty of the case. In order to dissemble her hurt to the public, the judge would need some cognitive dissonance from the dogma of the values she held in such a dogmatic manner which is something she could not even do to dupe herself. Little could be done to enervate the public outcry against her or engender any type of solution to the enigma of how in the world she would go on after this. She tried to enumerate the positives in her life, but that was an ephemeral activity that only seemed to prove how erratic her life had become and how her erudite nature caused her to be esoteric and or held in an estimable position by few. No euphemisms would help her discuss how she felt; in fact they would only serve to exacerbate the problems that arose when she exculpated and exonerated the murderer in an explicit manner that caused the aforementioned fanatical and fervid throngs against her.
 Each passing minute in bed seemed to foment her anxiety and her wife’s garrulous and gregarious nature was not also gullible enough to believe that she was feeling better and allowing her not to engage in discussion. The homogenous views of the public that she was a dangerous iconoclast did not seem to cause panic in her imperturbable and impervious wife who knew that she was not impetuous in her actions. Her wife was continued to be implacable even though her inchoate strategy to calm them down was one that reeked of ingenuous simplicity and could not make her stop thinking about the inimical crowds who would not be innocuous at the courthouse tomorrow.
 When she walk up the next morning, the insipid taste of her tea along with the intransigent nature of the mob that awaited her started to inundate her emotions to the point where she feared that she was becoming irascible and would be quick to anger back at them. She decided that her answers to the media’s questions would be laconic, lament sorrow for those murdered and not laud the actions of the murdered in anyway. The tea was no help in helping her lethargic manner this morning and neither was her loquacious wife who still was in a lucid state of mind having just woken up as the luminous light of day filled their home. She considered being a malinger and faking an illness. Maybe a meticulously written press release she though might be better to mitigate and mollify her problems then a press conference. When she realized this notion was naïve, she set on about facing the obdurate public in a non obsequious manner because she did not want to change her character and suddenly be easy to please. She would be obstinate in order to obviate and occlude the need to create a new persona. Suddenly an opaque cloud appeared over her home blocking all the light seeming to signal that she was opprobrium in an ostentations manner that was the paragon of Mother Nature’s ability to set a seen. While driving, she decided to be a pendent and show off her learning during the press confrence as she has done in the past as a perfunctory salvo against a dumb press that only sought to permeate the masses with their distorted viewpoints that lacked any sense of philanthropy to her situation or to placate the situation of the very angry yet plastic public opinion that a plethora of the media seemed to be fanning without considering any pragmatic effects.
 The drive to work was on a even road, yet felt like a precipitous climb especially as she read the headlines that prevaricated the situation by deviating from the truth. The pristine sky above almost seemed prodigal and wasteful on such a horrible day. The number of public figures proliferated who wanted to propitiate the public by accusing her of lack of propriety to the rules or prudence. That pungent stench of skunk was in the air as her car sat quiescent at a red light. To her surprise the crowds of people holding signs in protest against her how undergone rarefaction and some even held signs repudiating her critics. Still, others where reticent and silent as they watched her head into the parking lot. She hoped she could summon the rhetoric to satiate the public’s demand to know the basis of her decision. At the very least she thought she might just say fuck it and try a specious argument that would try to cause the public to become soporific regarding her ruling in the case.
 As she approached the podium with a sense of stigma on her, a stolid feeling came over her and all the emotions left her body. Then she quickly had a sublime rush and a the tacit smile that came over her face seemed to make the crowd taciturn and not a peep of the tirade she was expecting to hear from the public came. A torpor sluggish nature came over the crowd that was more then transitory in length and many had looks on their face that seemed to suggest that their views had vacillated and others still had a look of veneration for the judge. The judge began to talk and questioned the veracity of the effectiveness of punishment on the guilty party in this case. While her statements where a little too verbose and wordy, they did not seem to vex the listeners more who where not as volatile as she expected. Some in the crowd seemed to waver on where they stood on what she was saying and none where screaming taunts with zeal. And then a giant asteroid came and hit the earth killing the judge, the crowd, and 98% of the world's population.
