Brady is not like Manning who has never turned down a promotion; this leads to the question why would Brady chose to break his silence by promoting a pain cream on a Toronto station of all places. 1. He wanted to give a statement about his progress because of all the rumors. But, he did not feel like dealing with the Boston or even American media. So he did it on some random Toronto station in the guise of a promotional appearance so he could get his voice heard without really having to deal with the media.
2. He is a big fan of this pain cream and wanted to give it some promotion. (This is a kind of scary thought when your star QB is big fan of a pain cream)
3. He wanted to recoup some quick easy cash after buying yet another extravagant gift for Gisele.
