The New Jersey Devils are my least favorite team on hockey and one of the teams I hate the most in all of sports. I hate the Canadians, but at least when the Bruins play them I know it is going to be an entertaining style of play. The Devils invented the trap style of hockey in the mid 90s that made them Stanley Cup contenders every year, but also almost killed the entire sports because of how boring it was. Because of the new rules, they can't play their old style trap, but they still play a boring style of hockey. Furthermore, they play in fucking New Jersey. There are already 2 teams and New York; why the fuck do they give Jersey a team. Hell, they had a hard time selling out their home stadium even when they where dominant in the late 90s early 00s. The embodiment of their franchise is Claude Lemieux is known for both winning, but also playing like a dirty asshole. Lemieux once took a bite out of Jim Peplinski, severely injured Kris Draper with a dirty hit from behind into the boards, and hit Neely in the face with his stick on purpose while Neely was on the ground during the 91 playoffs. umm.. I kinda am getting side tracked, but my point is that It sucks that the Devils beat the B's in OT tonight because I fucking hate the Devils.
