Sorry J.D. I promised I would not make fun of you anymore after you had a bunch of big hits late last year and in the playoffs. That being said, with J.D. always slightly sore and Papi coming back from  injuries, I think the Sox should sign Griffey Jr. Griffey obviously is no longer the Seattle version of Griffey, but he hit 18HR with 71RBI last year and would be good left handed power insurance in the outfield and at DH for Drew and Papi. There have been rumors of Griffey going back to Seattle, but I think Boston with a chance to get a ring would have some appeal too. The Sox could most likely get him for only around 5 million for a year with some bonuses in the contract for game played.
