Congratulations To Glen Wesley for having his number retired by The Canes tonight. The most famous play of Glen Wesley's career is when he missed an open net in triple overtime against the Oilers in the 90 Stanley Cup finals. But, I mostly forgive him for that because we most likely where not good enough to beat the Oilers. Overall, Wesley was an above average defensemen for the B's for over 7 years and the 3 draft picks we got when we traded him turned out to be Kyle McLaren (1995), Johnathan Aitken (1996) and Sergei Samsonov (1997) which is pretty damn good. Wesley eventually won a Cup with the Canes in 06 and by all accounts is a good dude.
