In news that has shocked the Street Fighting world, Ryu who was until this day the most respected Street Fighter tested positive for steroids. Rumors started to fly when Ryu showed up to the 4^{th Street Fighter tournament twice the size as before. However, moar considered Ryu above using performance enhancing drugs. Ryu released a statement "saying he had no idea how this could have happened and will fight this false positive. He added though that he was injected with B-12 by long time sparing partner Ken and that injection might have been led to a false positive. Ken could not immediately be reached for comment, but other Street Fighters have started giving their opinions most notably Saget. Saget was considered the King Of Fighters until his one and only loss to Ryu. Saget told a reporter that the "loss should be taken off his record because of Ryu’s positive test and that he once again should be known as King Of Fighters." Saget was asked by a reporter if has ever used performance enhancing drugs himself, and responded to the reporters inquiry with a Tiger Uppercut which knocked the reporter out. Ryu’s long time friend and at times rumored love interest Chung Li released a written statement proclaiming "I have never seen or suspected Ryu of using steroids. Zangief stated the never used steroids and offered to take off his red trucks to show reporters his giant balls as proof. Dhalsim when approached by reporters while meditating disappeared and then reappeared at the other side of the room continuously until reporters left. Some speculate that the steroid cloud now hangs over this entire generation of fighters especially Ken who was Ryu’s training partner who has gone missing in recent days.
