I Just Might Have To Buy Some Starbury Sneakers
I usually don't go out of my way to buy Sneakers of athletes because it is kinda silly and usually the prices are insane. But I might have to go pick myself up some Starbury Sneakers. They are pretty much the cheapest athlete endorsed sneakers in history (between $15 and $21 http://starbury.com/) I never understood why anyone ever thought this Marbury signing might be a bad idea. If he started acting like a complete dick, then all the Celtics would have to do is cut him and lose a couple of hundred thousand dollars. What most likely is going to happen is what we saw a little of last night, Marbury using his considerable talents to help the Celtics second team which has had trouble scoring all year. Here are other reasons this is going to work.
1. He is going to have fresh legs. While initially he will not be in the shape of everyone else. By the time the playoffs start he most likely will be in midseason shape, but everyone else will have tired legs.
2. $$$$$$ Marbury seems to care about money as evident by the fact he squeezed every last dollar he could out of New York. He has every reason to play well and play good team ball because if people see him making big plays in the playoffs he will get another good new contract.
3. Most of the teams he has been on before have sucked ass. It is hard to be productive and happy on a bad team. Just think of your own work environment. It is hard to be a good teacher, cop, banker, or anything if you are working for a disfunctional organization.
4. Lastly, dude is good and he is going to be playing a lot of minutes against back ups.
