There have been rumors for a few days now of a Secret U2 show in Boston.Even the Globe speculates about a them possibly going back to their roots and playing the Paradise on March 11.  However, the first comment on that story is by someone claiming to represent The Paradise saying it is not true. Plus, The Wailers are already booked that night. What is interesting though, is that no one is booked for The Paradise March 10.  So that makes much more sense for a secret show. The Orpheum Theater is free on the 10th, 12th, and 13th. And since The Globe has no problem wildly speculating on their front page, how about maybe them being on a float on the St Patrick's Day Parade? It appears that there is going to be a not so secret show at  Fordham University as part of their promo. I would be truly impressed if a Band as big as U2 managed to pull off an actual secret show someplace; especially in Boston.
