For me to be rooting for Dice-K and Japan against the United States in the WBC last night? Obviously, if your country is at war or something and you wanted them to lose that would be considered unpatriotic by pretty much everyone; however, I don't think rooting against your home country should be considered unpatriotic when it is something as trivial as the WBC. For one thing, I am more loyal to Red Sox players than I am to baseball players from the U.S. (hell, there are many players on that U.S. team that I don't like) which is a major a reason I was rooting for Dice-K. Plus, the Japanese fans and players seemed to care more.
