Last Year's Album by Conor Oberst with the Mystic Vally Band was good, but did not match his prior work with Bright Eyes which was so consistently classic that he might not have surpassed Dylan, but he was the closest one. So far I have heard 3 songs off of his new album due in May. 10 Women, I Got A Reason # 2, and now the first studio cut Slowly (oh So Slowly). 10 Women deserves to be on the Oberst Pantheon and is just a perfect song. The other 2 contain such subtle yet great lines like " I never learned but I understood, oh dementia!, treat me good."
