Bruins Fail First Playoff Test

The Bruins had played well so far in this playoffs, but it had almost been too easy. Montreal despite some after the whistle scuffling, did not put up much of the fight. And game one of the Canes series was pretty easy. Tonight, the Canes adjusted and put a lot of pressure on the Bruins the entire game. Everytime the Bruins tried to break out of the zone the Canes seemed to have a player attacked the puck carrier and the rest of the Bruins covered. Furthermore, when ever the Bruins had the puck in the Canes zone, they attacked are point men who where not up to the task of dealing with the extra pressure tonight. The biggest play of the game was in the second when the Bruins where on the power play and Chara while getting pressured tried an ill advised cross ice pass that was intercepted for a breakout that led to a shorthanded goal. I hope the Bruins bounce back and figure out a way to deal with the Canes strategy of pressuring the puck carrier.
