The night started off with a bad Omen when the Sox current King Of Clutch and their all time King Of Clutch Pedroia and Ortiz could not get the go ahead run in the second inning. Furthermore, I am a fan of Bill Simmons, but was he trying to jinx us by doing a live chat during the biggest night for Boston Sports so far this year? Even though they blew the lead that they had for much of the game, I am not mad at the undermanned Celtics especially since I think they will take game 7.
The Bruins on the other hand sucked tonight. They got into OT because they where lucky. From the start of the game, they lacked intensity, lost key face offs, could not do Jack Shit when they where on the power play and generally looked like they where playing with the intensity of a mid-season game. What the fuck? We had a chance to head to the Eastern Conference finals against a star studded Penguins team; but, we did not deserve it. Where was Kessel in OT by the way? Do Julian bench him or some bull shit like that because he was barely out there in OT if at all. My only defense for the Bruins losing this game is maybe they where not that good. We played hard the entire season to get the first seed, but teams like Penguins and Canes most likely take a lot of games off in the regular season which is pretty much meaningless and turn it on for the playoffs. That being said, this was an awful series for the Bruins and took away some of the good will they built up this year.
