Good Luck P.J. Axelsson

Tim Wakefield is the only current Boston Athlete that has been with their respective Boston team longer than P.J. Axelsson. That is until today when Axelsson signed a 4 year deal to head back to Sweden. Axelsson was always a very good 2 way player and if he was a little better known he may have even won a Selke Trophy. In his 797 games with the Bruins, what I will remember more than anything else about his is that he did not fuck up. Many players do the spectacular, but can also do frequent dumbass plays. Axelsson was the anti-dumbass on the ice and he will be missed. Good luck to him back home.
