Would You Rather Have Had A Team Of "Clean" Losers?

The use of performance enhancing drugs has been obviously rampant in Major League Baseball since the Canseco/McGwire Oakland A's of the late 80s. Hypothetically, lets say that the Red Sox during that entire time did not have a single user of PEDs on their team, other teams all had significant number of players on PED, and as a result the Sox never made the playoffs during the last 22 years. Would you prefer that over to what actually happened? i.e. 2 world series wins, plenty of dramatic games, and key players on PED just like pretty much every other major league team. I would take the wins and the PED players. The reason PEDs where so prevalent was because MLB did not really have a coherant drug policy. Thus, I do not feel The Sox wins are at all tainted. Now, the MLB does have a coherant drug policy. If any Sox player is exposed as using PEDs  during the new policy, I would admit that would taint wins the Sox (or any other team) got with said player. I am not naive; there is a high possibility that many current players in baseball including the Red Sox are still using PEDs and are just using masking agents or something to get around the system. However, until there is any actual proof of a player currently using, all players currently in baseball should be looked at as playing on the up and up. So lets get over it and play ball.
