While there obviously is not the long history of the Sox vs Yankees rivalry, these Sox vs. Rays games the past few years have been every been as epic and competitive as Sox vs. Yankee games. Unfortunately, the result of Tuesday/Wednesday's classic game was not too be desired. Furthermore, the game added to my fear that the Sox still might not have enough offense to win it all this year because we do not have a legit short stop and 3 of the positions where power is supposed to come from LF, RF, and DH have not been producing nearly enough of it.
