Now that I have had a few hours to think about the game, I will add some thoughts to last night's early this morning's pithy post about the game.

• I guess this is what happens when you take away everyone's PEDs; games that will remind old people of the time before they lowered the mound.
• Great Catch made by Drew. He has always been very good in the field, but we would all really appreciate it if he you know, hit.
• I feel bad for Tazawa. Tough way to make your first big league appearence.
• Great game by Beckett. He deserve to be part of the  Clemens, Pedro, and Schilling Pantheon.
• I am still pissed that we don't have a legit short stop for offense or defense. Maybe we can get someone on the waiver wire.
• I know Burnett pitched really well, but the fact that we could not do shit against guys like Aceves, Bruney, and Coke is pretty pathetic.
• Props to the Sox bullpen for their continued performance last night. Here are all the ERA's this year of the guys who came out of the pen before Tazawa last night: Okajima 2.89, Bard 2.20, Papelbon 1.90, Delcarman 2.98, Saito 3.15.
• Do games like this ever not end in a home run?
• And it just had to be A-Rod right.
