Sometimes guys charged the mound in a complete rage; that did not happen with Youk tonight. I caught the movie In Bruges  (really good) on HBO a few days ago and there is a scene in it when Brendan Gleeson and Ralph Fiennes go to have a gun fight not cause they hate each other, but that is what the traditional decorum of the gangster/hitman culture dictated. When Youk charged the mound after being hit by a pitch tonight, it seemed like he did it because that was what the traditional baseball decorum regarding these things called for.
Getting back to the actual game, I was impressed that Tazawa was able to weather the storm of the bad luck he got in the first innings with the 2 non-double plays and the Hit by pitch that was almost over the plate and pitch 4 more strong innings. Lets just hope the bull pen gets the win for him now that the Rain Delay is over.
