Bad Weather Baseball

I have always loved bad weather football games; especially bad weather games in the post-season. Last night, I was watching the Yankees vs. Angels playoff game which was played in initially cold and eventually in a cold pouring rain. Unlike football where you might see bad weather games during the season, if the weather is bad during the regular baseball season they stop playing; but, in the baseball playoffs they need to figure out a way to get the games in as much as possible to appease the networks and not mess up the schedule. While watching last night's game, I though the bad weather only heightened the drama and made the game more enjoyable to watch. However, if the Sox where in it, I think I would have been more freaked out that the bad weather would cost us the game then enjoying the extra drama. The weather might have led to some errors, but it was Izturis bone head play to try to get 2 which cost the Angels the game and most likely any shot at the series. As for A-Rod's heroics, he is lucky he plays where he does because I don't think that would have been a HR in any other park.
