Brady, Belichick, and Video Game Theory

When you get a new entertaining video game, it can be engrossing to the point where you play it non-stop to master the game and ignore other aspects of life. Then, after you mastered and beat the game, you start playing it differently. Instead of worrying about playing the game properly to win at all costs, you start fucking around. You try to beat the game with a perfect score. You try to random strange stuff to see what happens. You stop caring about the game so much and finding other stuff to do. Brady and Belichick  with their 3 Super Bowl wins in a sense mastered football. Since then, at times it seems like they have been treating football like a beaten video game. Trying to get a perfect score (i.e. a perfect season) Fucking around and trying different stuff to see what happens. (going for it on 4th down all the time) Finding other stuff to do. (such as Super Models or in the case of Belichick some women in Jersey) When you reach that point, there is only one thing get you back to giving a shit about that video game like you used to. A challenge. Someone has to challenge your skills at the game. Say you suck now and where never that good. Say they where always better than you even when you beat them and you just got lucky or cheated. Then you might go back to working at the game to get your skills back just to go and kick that guys ass and prove you where always better than him and still are when you really care. I hope in the coming weeks people around the league start saying the Pats or done. If that happens, don't be surprised if Brady/Belichick still can dust off the old controller and kick everyone's ass.
