Maroney cost himself a lot of money today. He had been running well of late, and for a few games at least had not fumbled.  Today, he started off running well again before fumbling at the goal line. (I think he was in, but thats not the point) Since he could not hold on to the ball, he got in Belicheck's dog house and may not play that much the rest of the year especially if Morris and Taylor both stay healthy. He will now not get to showcase himself in the playoffs. If he holds on to that ball, he gets a lot more playing time and if he had a big game or 2 in the playoffs he could have increased his value even more. Now, he is just sitting in the dog house with millions of dollars out of his reach.
