Their names are  Laurence Maroney, Kevin Faulk, Sammy Morris, Fred Taylor. Individually, none of them will be confused with Chris Johnson, but going forward if we use all 4 of them effectively I think we can have a dominant running game. The Pats passing game due to Brady's knee being blown up, Moss getting older, and no real threats after Welker (though Watson should be used more) is not what is was in 07. Thus, we need to run more and I think we have the guys to do it. Maroney has been making nice cuts of late and running guys over for the first time in his time here. Maroney gets hurt a lot though so we could use the savvy veteran guys like Morris and Taylor who showed they still got something left to give him a breather now and then. Faulk is the best scat back of all time and still can run the draw out of shotgun, the screen pass, and run pass routes with the best of them. Right now, teams are seem to be doubling Welker short and have a extra safety helping out with Moss deep. If we can run the ball well, those safeties will have to stay closer to the line to help out with the running game. Despite the sloppy play this entire year of the Patriots, there is no team out there that I look at that does not have huge flaws and I am including the Colts in that. We can beat them and should have beat them last month. If we run the ball to our full potential we can and will beat them next time.
