Lebron James recently said he thought the Celtics were bored, and I agree with him. Not only that, but if I was the Celtics, I would be bored too. It is damn hard to keep your intensity up for an entire year in the NBA and the NHL for that matter. In baseball, only 4 teams from each side make it to the playoffs so it is easier to keep motivated. Plus, baseball is such an individual game everyone wants to finish with good stats to get a big contract and for the most part lots of players with good stats equals winning games. In football with only 16 games every game is important. But hockey and basketball have so many damn teams make the playoffs it is hard for a veteran team that has been there before to give a 100 percent each night. Nor, would you want to give 100 percent each night considering it might cause you to exhaust yourself for the playoffs.
