Anamanaguchi: Music For Old School Video Game Fans
A while back, I pointed out that Passion Pit at times sounded like music from Sonic The Hedgehog. (I meant it as a compliment) Well, the band Anamanaguchi goes out of their way to sound like 1980s style video games and they pull it off surprisingly well; this stuff works as nostalgia and for indie electronic dance pop.
