ALL HAIL SATAN! ( Miroslav Satan that is) An Epic Night For Boston Sports
- A great night in Boston Sports Folks. Double Sudden Death OT in the Bruins Playoff game and Sox WIn in 12. Lets start with the Bs
- The final goal was a great example of two players showing poise when it mattered. Ryder held on to the puck long enough for a passing lane to open up, and when Satan got the puck instead of just firing on Miller who was out to cut the angle he held on to the puck and skated around Miller was kind of picked by his own team mate and put the puck in the back of the net. Great Goal.
- The Karma Gods and The Sabres stupidity helped us out with the too many men on the ice penalty before the goal.
- Overall Buffalo outplayed us a little this game which is again testimony to how great Rask was playing tonight. One of the memorable highlights of the night was Rask flying through the air to stop a puck from heading toward a gappingly open net.
- So much happened across town at Fenway tonight. Beckett was off again and we left him in too long which cost us the lead.
- Darnell McDonald again was heroic with a home run and throwing a guy out at home with the help of Varitek who did a great job blocking the plate to get the out call.
- JD Drew pulled a classic JD Drew and got a random huge hit in this case a grand slam when you expect him to do nothing. Drew is one of the strangest players I have ever seen in a Red Sox uniform.
- Props has to be given to the Sox bullpen; it was our 3 best guys in the pen Bard, Papelbon, and Oki getting the job done. If the Sox were not so desperate to get wins, Tito might not have left in Bard and Papelbon for 2 innings.
- Side note, Roy Holladay has a good shot at 30 wins this year if he stays healthy. He does not have to break a sweat to throw complete game shut outs in the National League.
