Predictions: Bruins, Celtics, Kentucky Derby, The Return of Dice-K
Before I make my predictions, what the hell happened to Beltre's alleged all world defense. We have already been in and will be in a bunch of one run games this season and errors like last night can't happen if we are going to win. This team does not have the line up to make up for bad defense. Now on to the predictions:
The Bruins over the Flyers in 6. The teams are even in talent, but Savard could help on the power play and Tuukka Rask is in the zone right now.
The Celtics over the Cavs in 7. Even with their additions like Jamison, I do not think the Cavs are as deep as team as the Celtics. Look for Rondo to have a huge series.
Ice Box wins the Kentucky Derby which I am basing on no knowledge of the field. That being said, the names for the horses this year are terrible. If you are going to invest a ton of money in a horse give it a cool name.
Dice K is coming back tonight and I think he is going to have a good rest of the season and be more like the Dice-K of a couple of years ago when he still gave up walks, but he rarely gave up big innings because batters did not make a lot of solid contact against him. Tonight I see him going 6 innings, 1 run, 4, walks, 6ks.
