Bill Simmons and Ray Walton Steal From The Disreputable History Of Frankie Landau Banks

Ray Walton wrote into Bill Simmons mail bag and used the made up word gruntled (i.e. the opposite of disgruntled) to which Simmons replied "that is a great new word gruntled." While I doubt either Simmons or Walton who emailed him have read the book, the word Gruntled is actually used throughout the book The Disreputable History Of Frankie Landau Banks. It is actually a running joke throughout the book that the main character uses a type of words she describes as neglected positives; words with negative prefixes but the positive version is not actually a real word or does not mean the oppossite like one would assume. Thus from a word like disgruntled you get the word gruntled meaning the opposite.
