Great Game 1

There are many aspects of this game to be happy about. I would have to say number one is the speed and the physical nature with which the defense came out and that our young guys like Mccourty looked like they belong from play 1. The offensive line looked great opening up holes for the running back and giving Brady time to throw. The young Tight Ends Grownkowski and Hernandez who I have been enamored with since the draft both made big plays. One of the plays (Hernandez's big catch on the first draft) was made possible by double coverage on Moss who also had a very good game along with the returning Welker. Speaking of Moss (who had a great run after catch in this game) , his press conference which is going to be overly discussed this week reminds me of Lisa Delpit's writings on cultural miscommunication that occurs when people of different cultures have different interpretations of the same exact words and tone.  When Moss talks, I think he is trying to convey one thing and the media (the vast majority of sports writers are old white guys) who come from a different culture hear something different.
