Parity In Baseball and Football

The belief is that Football has a lot more parity than baseball due the NFL having a salary cap. But is this really the case?
Here are the last the last 10 World Series winners and who they defeated next to the last 10 Super Bowl Winners and who they defeated.

World Series                                                         Super Bowl
Giants over Rangers                                            Saints over Colts
Yankees over Phillies                                           Steelers over Cardinals
Phillies over Rays                                                  Giants over Patriots (throwing up a little)
Red Sox over Rockies                                          Colts over Bears
Cardinals over Tigers                                            Steelers over SeaHawks
White Sox over Astros                                            Patriots over Eagles
Red Sox over Cardinals                                        Patriots over Panthers
Marlins over Yankees                                            Buccaneers over Raiders
Angels over Giants                                                 Patriots over Rams
Diamondbacks over Yankees                              Ravens over Giants

In baseball 9 different teams have won it in the last 10 years and in football 7 different teams have won it all in the last 10 years. In baseball 14 different teams have been in the World Series in the last 10 years and in Football 14 different teams have been in the Super Bowl the past 10 years. Who would you say are the top contenders for the Super Bowl this year? Patriots, Steelers, and Colts? All those teams have been in it a lot of late. Furthermore, more teams in the NFL make the playoffs than in baseball which would mean there is a greater chance for more teams to be playing in the Super Bowl than in baseball but that has not been the case. While would not argue, that big markets teams do not have more of an advantage in baseball, I think that advantage is greatly overstated. Furthermore, a lot of football seems to depend on who is smart/lucky enough to get a franchise QB like Brady or Manning so they can have a legit shot each year.
