Weezer At The Orpheum Theater Pictures
After the jump are some pictures from last nights great double set by Weezer at the Orpheum Theater in Boston. The first part of the set was a greatest hits in working backwards starting with the recent single "Memories" and then working into Red Album tracks "Pork and Beans" and the silly epic "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived." They also got great sing alongs on tracks like "Island In The Sun" and "Perfect Situation" from the crowd. I loved that the only Blue Album song they played (2 nights ago was the Blue Album show) was my favorite Weezer Track "Only In Dreams." Rivers hit every lyric perfectly and the way all the guitars all wailed at the end was magic. Rivers was running around into the crowd and jumping around the stage the entire set. They then took a break, and ran through the one of the all time classic albums Pinkerton straight not stopping between songs or adding extra spice to them; they just let each classic song speak for itself as the crowd sang and yelled along. Great show, pics below:

This is a long waited concept and every one is desperately waiting for it. Thanks for the review.

Weezer is a pretty sick band.

Man, looks like a canopy of people in that theater. Weezer is one of my all time favorite bands. I would have loved to have been at that show. Haven't been to many concerts recently due to work.
