These Are Not Your Older Brothers Patriots
Games like this remind me of how good those Patriots of the past were. Guys like Law, This team had some fatal flaws and they showed up today. For one, they did not have enough big play potential on offense. The Jets seemed to realize that and they played tight on the receivers because their was not chance of any big plays. In addition, we have absolutely no pass rush which often leads to the other team getting enough time to complete big plays and lessons the chance of our defense making a big play. Did anyone really bother Sanchez in this game? Did we ever really bother any Quarterback all year?
Here is an idea of how the Patriots can remedy one of those issues an explosive offensive player. Larry Fitzgerald is the best receiver in football but has no QB to throw him the ball. Hopefully he starts bitching that his team sucks and asked for a trade. Or we can be proactive and offer the Cardinals 2 first round draft picks publicly for him which might intrigue Fitzgerald and thus have him start shooting his mouth off to get out of Arizona.
