In last night's game Tim Thomas made the save of the year when he dived backwards to and used the blade of his goalie stick to stop a sure goal. It was a great save, but its context will determine if it was legendary. If the Bruins win the series and the Cup, I am sure that save will get some special attention on the Bruins Championship DVD. However, if they lose this series, the save will most likely be forgotten. It the the Bruins job to elevate the save to a higher historic level.
