I admit, I complained about Claude Julien's defense first philosophy at time, but it was the Bruins ability to play stifling team defense along with Tim Thomas great goal tending that brought us to the Cup for the first time since I was 7. But, you can't win a game 0-0, and for a while there the Bruins could not score despite a couple of great chances like Lucic's break away. However with about 7:30 minutes to go, Horton made a great burst towards the front of the net in between a seem in Tampa's defense and Krecji hit him with a beautiful pass and the game winning goal. This was a great night for the Bruins, their fans, and for hockey with 2 great Hockey cities reaching the cup. Off to Vancouver for a meeting with the Sedin Brothers.
