completely outplayed the Canucks tonight; Thomas gets the # 1 Star for the shut out and vigorously defending his crease Burrows. Marchard #2 Star for his goal and constant antagonism # 3 Star goes to Krejci for 2 assists and overall great play. Side note: great pass by Seguin on the Ryder goal. Double Side note, Red Sox back in first!
All that being said, we can't get too cocky. All we did was even the series and the Canucks barely showed up tonight which does not mean they won't show up the next game. That was a cross-sport lesson learned during the Patriots season vs. The Jets. Just cause you dominate one game, all aspects of a game especially the psychology can change quickly. That being said, it will be interesting to see how much confidence the Canucks have in Luongo going forward.
