Prediction: The McConnell and Reid Plan Will Be The One That Passes
I could live with the McConnell and Reid plan regarding the debt ceiling and is betting that it will be the bill that eventually passe. (see the above link for a general frame work for the plan) Side note, it is impressive the level of minutia and parliamentary tricks that congressional leaders can come up with to obfuscate what they are actually voting for or against. Yet another reason why we need civics to be the central theme of our public education system.
