Ellsbury, Welker, and a bunch of crap.

  1. ·         Before I discuss all the bad by the Red Sox and Patriots today, I want to point out the historical performances by Ellsbury and Welker. For more than any other reason, I want the Sox to make the playoffs so we don’t waste his historic year by Ellsbury. He hit 2HR today to reach 100 RBI and became the first Red Sox ever to go 30/30 and he has an outside shot at 30/40. If I was him, I would make a pregame speech before the next game yelling and screaming since he does not have his big contract yet. If the Sox make the post season, and he plays well, it could elevate him to one of the biggest stars in baseball and add 30 million to his next contract. I would look at Lackey, Crawford, and others say all of you already have your big contracts, help me out. Welker also deserves credit for his insane day today.
  2. ·         Chad Johnson does not deserve credit, He deserves to be cut after that drop today. You can’t be called by a silly name if you cant make that catch.
  3. ·         Brady made some bad passes today and also had some tips balls fall into the wrong hands; that shit happens. Sometimes the rest of the team needs to win a game.
  4. ·         The Secondary again got torched and made dumb penalties. They get no help from the pass rush who gave Harvard”s Ryan Fitzpatrick (Harvard is not part of his name) all the time in the world.
  5. ·         The defense should have also let Jackson score (for the record I was screaming that the second he caught the ball.
  6. ·         Back to the Sox, Tim Wakefield should have retired before this season. To see him waddle around trying field a bunt is a disgrace.
  7. ·         Carl Crawford swings at more pitches in the dirt than anyone I have seen.
  8. ·         Gonzalez has picked a perfect time to become a double play machine.
  9. ·         But lets not fret, Boston sports fans, JD Drew is rumored to be back in the lineup tonight.
