Boston has not had a ton of successful rapper (RIP Kieth Elam aka Guru); furthermore, despite some underground success stories, we have had even less become stars. Enter the group The Dean's List. http://www.itsthedeanslist.com/home.html The Dean's List are not masters on the Mic, but they do a good pop/rap style that I would best describe as somewhere between old school Fresh Prince and current acts like B.O.B. The Dean's List have been generating a lot of buzz of late, have a successful tour going, and have released a bunch of well done videos on Youtube that have garnered a lot of hits; I think they have some break out potential.
